The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is conducted by CBSE for selection of Primary and Elementary teachers in Central Government and other schools. CTET is a qualifying exam. You are required to pass CTET to become eligible for teaching class I to VIII. The candidates securing 60% and above marks in CTET will be issued Eligibility Certificate. Qualifying the CTET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment / employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment. School managements (Government, local bodies, government aided and unaided) will give weightage to the CTET scores in the recruitment process. This presentation provides an introduction about CTET. We'll discuss the eligibility, selection process and exam pattern.
