growing way to produce electricity.

• We can use Wind Energy continuously 
not like solar energy.

• Winds are caused by earth rotation 
and uneven heating atmosphere by 
sun.

• Wind Flow is Harvest by modern wind 
turbines to produce electricity.


How Wind Power Generate?

• “Wind Energy” or we can say “Wind 
Power” is the process by which wind 
is converted into mechanical power 
or electricity.

• With the help of Wind turbines, 
Wind is converted into electricity. 

• Mechanical power is use to grinding 
grains and pumping water, with the 
help of generator Mechanical power 
convert into electricity.

they don’t use electricity to make 
wind in fact they use wind to make 
electricity.

of Wind.

• With the help of blades generator 
spin to create Electricity.

• Transformers get electricity and 
they increase voltage and send to 
distribution line.

• Voltages are reduced by local 
transformers and send to home and 
companies.


Why are turbines tall?

• Wind increase at higher altitude.
• Turbines are tall, So they can 
receive wind at high speed and spin 
more.

• If turbines spin more then they 
produce more energy.


Advantages of Wind Energy

• No Pollution.
• Running cost is less.
• Maintenance is easy.
• Reduce uses of Fossil Fuel.
• Need less place to install.
• Wind is free.


Disadvantages of Wind 
Energy

• Installation Expensive.
• Not good for Wild Animals.
• It is not a Constant Energy Source, 
Wind Fluctuates.

• Wind Energy is a reason of Noise 
Pollution.
