Pregnancy….
• After you have passed the first half of your pregnancy you can now feel 
the movement of your baby. 
• The baby's movements in your belly will be the most vivid impression of 
the 5th month of pregnancy. 
• For the expectant mother, it's a happy opportunity because she gets an 
opportunity to communicate with her, to soothe her with caresses, to 
know if she's happy or not.

• The future mother's appearance may change. 
• Some women get pigmentation because of the hormones on their skin. 
Hormonal changes can have a negative impact on visual acuity. 
• But don't worry–these are temporary changes. After birth, these minor 
flaws will disappear. One of the most unpleasant change is the swelling 
of the breasts.

• The expectant mother has to change her usual position during sleep with 
the appearance of a belly: sleeping on the left side, right leg on the left 
side, or with a small pillow (pregnancy) between the legs is 
recommended. 
• Keep an eye on your weight and eat too little. The gain in weight should 
not exceed 1 pound.

pregnancy as it now has to supply not only one but two organisms with 
blood. 
• Therefore, your pulse is fast. Your blood pressure may be slightly high. 
Your blood's number of leucocytes will increase.
• The tiny person leads a rather curious pre-natal existence by the fifth 
month of pregnancy: he opens his eyes a little, blinks, sucks his own 
thumb, moves and kicks his legs when he doesn't like anything.

• The baby's endocrine and neural systems control and helps her develop 
the condition of her body. 
• The brain is getting better and more complicated. The baby's body has 
been able to synthesize substances since the 18th week that helps it 
manage infections–interferon and immunoglobulin.
• All the endocrine glands have been involved in the work since the 19th-
20th week.

• The spleen starts to work. It becomes a lymphocyte and monocyte 
"factory" that defends the organism. 
• The spleen also controls erythrocyte quality: sorting and dissolving the 
defective ones.
• The baby's body is still red, wrinkled and covered with a particular 
substance – vernix caseosa. This is a coagulated whitish substance that is 
a sebum and epidermis furfural mixture. The fetus ' weight is about 0.8 
pounds in the fifth month, the size is about 6.4 - 8 inches.

• Along with the above information a pregnant woman must do during the 
pregnancy test of fifth month. 
• These are a blood test for hepatitis B virus; urine test for sugar and 
protein; the triple test which includes AFP (alpha-fetoprotein), HCG 
(human chorionic gonadotropin) and estriol.
