Amazon, Facebook, Apple, Vivo and oppo are supporting 
India's fight against covid, supporting ventilators and 
oxygen breathing machines.
Amazon India said on Tuesday that it had purchased 100 ventilators through 
its global resources, so that they could be imported into the country 
immediately. The company has worked with the Ministry of Health and Family 
Welfare to ensure that the ventilators are of technological change and 100 
unit medtronic devices are checked for their compatibility and brought to India 
immediately.
Amazon Global SVP and Country Head India Amit Aggarwal said that we are 
doing more and are committed to supporting our country in the fight against 
COVID-19. 
India is recording a record number of COVID-19 cases every day 
which has put tremendous pressure on the health infrastructure of 
the country. According to data from the Union Ministry of Health, the 
number of new coronavirus infections touched 3,23,144 and 2,771 
fats on Tuesday morning.
Hospitals in many states have faced a severe shortage of medical oxygen and beds due to increased infection in the second wave of the epidemic.

Oppo said that it will donate 1,000 oxygen and 
500 breathing machines worth Rs 4.3 crore to 
the Indian Red Cross Society and the 
Government of Uttar Pradesh, and these 
machines will be delivered to hospitals where 
the need is greatest.
Chinese smartphone company Oppo is donating 
5,000 units of Band Style, donating Rs 1.5 
crore to the Delhi Police and Greater Noida 
Authority frontiers warriors to help them 
monitor their health.
The founder of SRide - a carpooling app - has 
launched the "sNeighbour" app, which enables 
them to seek and provide engagement at the 
community level during these difficult times.
A location-based search app will help users share 
information about vaccination centers, 
medicines, oxygen tanks, hospital beds, 
vaccination centers, medicines, cooked food, and 
more.
