experience in their nominated occupation. The government has now revoked the condition to ease the eligibility for 
the ROI. 
As long as your occupation falls under skills level 1 to 3 and you have at least 65 points, you can register your 
Interest for migration. 
While Victoria has started to send nominations under both 190 and 491 visas, the onshore 
applications are open for those currently living in Victoria. These candidates must demonstrate work 
experience in one of the target sectors designated by the state based on their STEMM (science, 
technology, engineering, mathematics, and medical) skills.
With Victoria opening its doors for skilled migrants, the new update will be a fantastic opportunity for 
qualified applicants with high scores to get the nomination under a chosen skilled nominated visa.
