History 
The India Gate or All India War Memorial is arranged toward the east of 
Rajpath in New Delhi, India. In the year 1921, His Royal Highness, the Duke 
of Connaught established the Framework Stone of India Gate. Noted modeler 
Sir Edwin Lutyens structured the design. after 10 years on 12 February 1931, 
the landmark was initiated by Viceroy Lord Irwin. In the expressions of Irwin " 
the individuals who after us will view this landmark may learn in contemplating 
its motivation something of that penance and administration which the names 
upon its dividers record."
 In December 1971, Indo-Pak war was battled and Bangladesh framed. A 
great many warriors laid their life battling for the nation. In the memory of 
those bold lions, another dedication Amar Jawan Jyoti was added to the 
India Gate. The then Prime Minister of India Mrs. Indira Gandhi introduced 
the remembrance on 26 January 1972.
 The Amar Jawan Jyoti watched by the three administrations of Indian 
Armed Forces nonstop. The names of 13300 war legends are engraved on 
the India Gate. For security reasons open isn't permitted to peruse the 
names of war legends.
