Apple new privacy requirements for App store.
APPLE NEW PRIVACY
REQUIREMENTS FOR APP
STORE
INTRODUCTION
The company has announced at Apple's Worldwide
Developers Conference in June that developers will be
forced to convey their privacy policies to customers soon
via new, snapshot-finding summaries which appear on the
App Store's product pages.

PRIVACY POLICY
On the part of the developers, Apple started to ask
development firms to send new applications and app
changes for their privacy policies.
However, until today the information has not started to be
released in the App Stores.

INFORMATION
The new labels seek to make it easy for Apple users to
grasp what type of information an app gathers in three
categories:
the data used to monitor you
the data related to you
the data that are not associated

USER OR DEVICE DATA
Tracking, describing Apple, refers to linking user or
device data collected from an app to user or device
data collected from other applications, websites or
even offline properties (such as store receipts
aggregate information) used to calculate targeted
content or advertisements.
It may also involve the exchange with data brokers of
user or system data.

PERSONAL DATA
There are a number of data forms that may be
obtained from consumers, including specific contact
details (e.g. username, mobile address, etc.), health
and wellness information, financial information (e.g.
payment and credit detail); location (whether correct
or credit detailed).

PERSONAL DATA LINKED
The third party adtech and testing industry (SDKs) –
simply external-vendor code that developers apply to
their applications to raise sales is exposed to this
factor alone.
The "data linked to you" meanwhile is the personal
data linked to your identity on the app, smartphone or
other details through your user account.

WHAT DEVELOPERS SHOULD
CONSIDER?
Developers should consider not only what data can be
gathered in their app, but also how it is used.
For instance, if an application exchanges the user
details with a third-party client, the developer would
need to know what information the partner needs and
for what purposes.

EXAMPLE
For example to view unique app advertisements, to
exchange local data, or email lists with a data broker,
to use data to retarget users in other applications, or
to calculate ad efficiencies.
And, while Apple frameworks or platforms collect
data, the development vendor does not have to report
the data collected by Apple itself.

TRANSPARENCY
There are several exceptions to the current criteria for
transparency, including data received in contact
forms or requests for customer support.
However, nearly all data gathered by an app must in
general be released.
And Apple's own applications, which are not on the
App Store, are posted on the Internet with their
privacy marks.

NEW WEBSITE
Information on the privacy practise of Apple were also
today available on Apple.com/Privacy, a new website
which lists all other ways in which Apple protects user
privately and includes not just modifications to the
App Store.
