All about China mars mission.
All about China’s Mars Mission Introduction • China launched a rover to Mars on July 23, suggesting a space race with the United States — NASA is scheduled to launch its own rover on July 30. • It also marks a busy week for Mars flights, with the UAE launching one on the 21st which does not require a landing, but an orbital flight which will research the Martian atmosphere. In November 2011, the nation launched a Red Planet orbiter named Yinghuo-1, but the spacecraft flew back with Russia's Phobos- Grunt mission and failed to launch it. The Mars-Orbiting Subsurface Exploration Radar 3. The Mars Mineralogy Spectrometer 4. The Mars Magnetometer 5. The Mars Ion 6. The Mars Energetic Particle Analyzer Source: Pixabay The Lander • Apparently the lander does not do any practical science work, but acts as a rover delivery network. • By the way, that wheeled explorer tips the scales at some 530 lbs. (240 kilograms), making it twice the weight of China's moon-exploring Yutu rover first. Source: Pixabay Objectives of the Mission 1. Mapping morphology and geologic structure 2. To investigate the characteristics of soil surfaces and the distribution of water-ice 3. To analyze the composition of a surface material 4. Measuring the ionosphere and the characteristics of Martian climate and surface environment 5. Perceiving Mars' physical (electromagnetic, gravitational) and internal structure Source: Pixabay Conclusion • All three of these missions are planned for arrival at the Red Planet in February 2021 by the UAE, China and the US. And when Mars' summer comes to an end, we will always have a winter on Red Planet to look forward to. Source: Pixabay
