by taking the blessings of God. God helps us overcome our deep insecurities and
become better people, and for everyone, the temple is a place where they find
happiness and peace.

pretty detailing on the walls and fantastic carvings. But sometimes unfortunate
incident takes place, and the idol of gods or Goddesses in the temples gets
broken, which can hurt the sentiments of many people who are worshipping their
God with total respect and trust.

stage, and the work involved is very creative and detailed, making it quite tricky;
hence, the statues' value is relatively high among everyone.
Know Why Broken God Statue Shouldn't Place at Home
In this blog, we will understand why broken marble god statues should not be
kept in temples like that. The reasons are as follows-
Inauspicious-
All the well-known priests and people who believe in God's power say that
keeping broken Idols inside the temple is considered inauspicious. Keeping the
idol like that is not good because it might create particular unrest in your life and
problems. We worship the statue of God with a lot of affection and care, and
when the idol gets broken for any reason, it is not considered auspicious to do
pooja of the same idol.
Bad luck-
It is said that if a broken Krishna idol is kept inside the home or temple, it brings
bad luck to the people and places associated with it. It is fearful of getting
associated with bad luck because many difficulties can arise in life which is not
that easy to solve, and people will also have to face some unfortunate incidents
which are not entirely pleasant.
Violation of Vastu Shastra rules-
Specific Vastu Shasta rules have been preset from ancient times and must be
followed meticulously during the new construction to place the God idols for the
temple properly. Vast Shastra rules have a specific meaning and scientific reasons
associated with them, which are known by educated people in that field and
hence need to be followed properly to avoid bad luck and inauspicious shadows
over your home or temple. One of the Vastu Shastra rules clearly states that a
broken marble god statue should not be kept at home for long. After it has been
broken, some necessary steps must be taken immediately for the safety and
security of all the family members and other people associated with the murti.
Takes away peace-
Place God idols in the temple per the vastu shastra rules, and broken Idols should
never be placed at home or even in temples. While doing some work, sometimes
by mistake, the idol gets broken while dusting or cleaning. This is a natural
mistake that can occur to anyone. But this broken idol should never be kept at
home as it will disturb the peace of your family members and you will also have to
face constant quarrels at home which will change the atmosphere of the house
and make it harmful, which is not suitable for anyone residing in the home.
An idol is accidentally broken, how should it be
 scattered?
Above are some reasons why one should never keep a broken God and goddess
idols at home. Now let us also understand how an Idol should be dispersed if it
gets broken by mistake.
First, you should keep the idol from the temple and see what is broken.
Then you can either hand over the murti to the nearby temple or some Priest
with excellent knowledge in handling such problems. When you handle your
idol to them, they will take care of the rest of the procedure as per the vastu
shastra to make sure that you don't have to face any problems due to this in
the future.
If you don't want to give your idol to the temple, then you can immerse it in
the nearby river. The immersion should be done correctly and with a lot of
care. It would be best if you handled the murti carefully as it is already broken
and needs to be immersed very carefully.
