Canon EOS 7D Review - Do not shy away from the megapixel race, the new Canon 7D has a new 18-megapixel APS-C sensor with a crop factor of 1.6. Each pixel is 4.3 microns high, although Canon says that with their complete micro lenses, the new sensor gathers more light.
