For programs 2025, key changes announced by UGC have been made available to students. These changes encompass the exam mode, duration, question pattern, and subject offerings, marking a pivotal shift in the exam’s structure and approach. 1. Mode of Examination The CUET 2025 will continue to be administered in the CBT format. However, UGC has stressed a more robust technical framework to ensure a smooth test-taking experience. The students will also receive more mock tests on the official portal to get accustomed to the digital format. 2. Time Duration and Schedule Similar to the previous years, the test will be held over several days in two slots - morning and afternoon. However, a significant change in the examination time is as follows: The time spent on the Language and General Aptitude sections has increased from 60 to 90 minutes. The subject-specific tests will now be 75 minutes instead of 60 minutes. This will enable the students to spend more time analyzing and answering questions. The time spent on each question pattern is increased to eliminate stress, and candidates can focus more on the question.
