Poultry Chickens are prone to being a habitat of parasites. Microbes like stick-fast flea and lice are very common living organisms that tender around the body and feathers of chickens. These parasites give rise to skin irritation, reduction of RBCs, feather damage, etc., sometimes leading to severe life threatening symptoms. From large macroscopic roundworms to unit celled trichomonas, these parasites directly affect the intestines, absorbing all vital nutrients required for growth and reproduction. Since these worms are communicable, spreading of the same becomes a matter of time, infecting all the birds in the shed.

Chicken Diseases
Poultry farming deals with the domestication of birds like hens, ducks, geese, etc. where they and their eggs
are reared and processed for various domestic and commercial activity.
But the problem with today’s commercial poultry activity is that chickens are fed with additional nutritional
source for more growth and production. The source may range from chemical usage to high protein additives
that help the birds gain flesh, skin and blooming feathers. Essential elements like Calcium, Phosphorus,
Sodium, Potassium, Iron, Magnesium, etc. are all fed through additional supplements which includes all types
of vitamins and minerals diet too.
The use of these chemical supplements does enhance the productivity, growth, monetary benefits
but also bears some guaranteed consequences. Generally, the poultry sheds are subjected to
application of various insecticides, medicines and vaccinations which increases the chances of
illnesses like Salmonella and E. coli for birds. Some other poultry ailments like chronic respiratory
disease, infectious sinusitis, hepatitis, synovitis, foul pox, laryngotracheitis, etc. are very common in
today’s time, most of them being the side effects of those antibiotics and supplements.

It is not possible to opt for natural breeding of poultry birds and yet meet the
continuous increasing demand of global market.
Proper and Regular Medication Program and Systematic Disinfection may not
guarantee complete solution but can limit the criticality of the conditions to a huge

Chemical Formulation
The formulation of a disinfectant is quite a task as it has to effectively perform its concerned activity without
causing any harm to the application sector. The existence of contaminants depends upon several factors like
soil, air, surrounding conditions etc. It has been studied by global experts that about a considerable amount of
chickens were affected in the last decade due to pathogenically occurring disease resulting in rising poultry
products crisis and cost. Proper concern and priority is needed to be given to this sector and one of the best
way to prevent these occurrences is to use suitable non-toxic disinfectant which will eradicate these
pathogens, contributing to the healthy growth of the birds.
