world. She was the first paid scientific women. She 
was the one who discover 14  new nebulas, eight 
comet and 561 new stars which added to Flamsteeds 
Atlas.  


Marry Anning

In 19th century Marry's occupation was to collect 
fossils  and  sell to tourists. She was the one who 
discover ichthyosaurus skeleton first time. She 
discovered more things also like long-necked 
Plesiosaurus skeleton and the Pterodactyls.


Lise Meitner

Lise Meitner  worked on radioactivity and nuclear 
physics. She was the one who discover nuclear fission 
of uranium with Otto Hahn. They understood Nuclear 
process very well and this is the basis of nuclear 
weapons.


Barbara McClintock

Barbara McClintock spent her career in the 
development of maize cytogenetic. They recognized 
chromosomes and their change during reproduction 
of maize. She received Nobel Prize in Physiology or 
Medicine.


Dorothy Hodgkin

Dorothy Hodgkin determined atomic structure of  
cholesterol, penicillin and vitamin B12. She also 
discovered protein crystallography.  She did some 
advance changes in X-ray crystallography  techniques.
She was able to map structure of Insulin.

Grace Hoppe was an computer Scientist. She 
developed first complier related tools. She gave idea 
of Machine- Independent programming which use in 
development of COBOL and later in High Level 
Language.


Elizabeth Garrett Anderson

Elizabeth Garrett Anderson was the first woman who 
become Physician and Surgeon and co-founder of first 
women staffed hospital. She was the first dean of 
British Medical School. She was the first female 
Mayor.


Valentina Tereshkova

Valentina Tereshkova has been  retried from Russian 
cosmonaut.  She was the first women in space, 
because of her skills like skydiving, proletariat 
background and worthiness for the role, she was
