Common Skin Problems in Summer with Their Solution

Skin problem 1: Heat Rash The high temperatures in summer mean that our skin swells up slightly to retain the moisture optimally. Occasionally, however, the ducts of the sweat glands clog so that the sweats can no longer drain properly, and small bumps develop. These bumps are also known as heat pimples, which have little in common with conventional pimples. Nevertheless, heat rashes are perceived as annoying because they are an aesthetic problem and can trigger unpleasant itchy bumps or burning. Those who take action against heat rash or want to avoid them directly should wear light and breathable clothing in summer. In addition, the skin should be freed from all superficial impurities to avoid clogging of the sweat glands. Finally, an evening bath or a quick shower can work wonders against heat rash in summer. Skin problem 2: Pimples on the Back One repeatedly reads that certain dietary supplements and foods can also help protect the skin from the damage caused by UV radiation. However, eating right alone does not prevent sunburn / sun allergy. Nonetheless, those who eat as many fresh, unprocessed foods as possible and have enough valuable vitamins and nutrients –especially Vitamin C, lycopene, and selenium - benefit from a healthier and more resilient skin structure. But even with the best preparation, the following apply, of course: Direct sunlight should always be reduced to minimumacne breakouts. If you want to protect the skin, you should also use effective sunscreen.  The skin can also be cared for after sunbathing with after-sun care products to avoid long-term skin damage. Skin problem 3: Sore Thighs Only in a few places in our body does skin keep rubbing against skin. However, this is often the case with the thighs. This area of the skin, therefore, tends to sweat profusely, especially in summer.  Due to the constant friction, the sweat cannot drain off properly, so that the surface of the skin becomes sore and can become inflamed. To avoid sore thighs in summer, the skin can be kept dry with a baby powder. If you don't take this so well, airy clothing can already bring about improvement. Skin problem 4: skin fungus Skin fungus is not only an important topic in summer because the skin can become ill with it at any time of the year. Nevertheless, most skin fungal diseases occur in summer - because, in the humid, warm climate, the fungus finds the optimal conditions to multiply quickly. For example, if round spots appear that are lichen-like on the skin, it could be so-called bran - one of the most common skin fungi. However, you can quickly take action against the usually only visually disturbing skin fungus with a fungicidal cream. In all of the above cases, if the first self-initiated measures do not help, we carry out a microbiological diagnosis (smears) in the dermatological practise to get to the bottom of the cause and, if necessary, to initiate appropriate therapies. Apply Sunscreen SPF 50 several times a day:   Sunscreen SPF 50 with broad spectrum protection is more than a skin problem because it can cause dangerous long-term effects such as skin cancer. In addition, due to abrasion, sweat, or bathing in the pool or the sea, sun protection products only last a few hours, so it is important to use sunscreen more than once on a sunny day. You can wear protective clothes. Wash the intimate area without soap/shower gel: watch out! Your private parts are practically self-cleaning, so women should avoid cleaning their vagina with soap or shower gel, which unbalances their pH. The defence mechanism of the genital area is weakened, and pathogens have an easy time of it. To avoid fungal infections, you should wash your vagina with clean, lukewarm water - preferably with your hands, as washcloths and sponges can become breeding grounds for germs.
