SPACEX LAUNCHES ITS 13TH STARLINK MISSION INTRODUCTION • The Hawthorne, California-based aerospace company aims to launch its 13th Starlink mission at 1:57 p.m. Eastern time from Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Source: wikipedia.org FALCON 9 ROCKET • The Falcon 9 rocket will carry 60 more satellites into orbit, bringing the constellation to about 750 satellites (minus about 30 that have been deorbited since the program started in May 2019). A Starlink deployment on Aug. 7 marked the first time all of the satellites onboard had these sun visors. The company, launches from Cape Canaveral as part of its Starlink program and in service of NASA's Commercial Crew program to put astronauts on the International Space Station.
