Down syndrome is a genetic problem caused by 
chromosomes. It is not a disease of any kind but a 
kind of unexplained defect in which the child's 
mental development and physical development are 
late. It is a genetic disease that is a disorder 
associated with chromosomes. 
The fetus receives 46 chromosomes during pregnancy, 
including 23 mothers and 23 fathers. However, a child 
with Down syndrome has more than one copy of the 21st 
chromosome, that is, 47 chromosomes are found in it, 
which slows down his mental and physical development.
