So, make sure not to take off your mask during the night. CPAP problems: If you are not sleeping well despite using a CPAP machine, it might be because of the problems created by the device itself. This can make getting used to CPAP hard. If it is not of the right fit, a CPAP mask can cause leak problems or pain. For some people breathing against the pressure may also be tricky. Moreover, the humidity and temperature of the air also need to be adjusted in some cases, or it may cause suffocation. Mild sleep apnea: People suffering from mild sleep apnea may not notice as much difference from treatment as people with severe sleep apnea. For example, the number of episodes in mild patients may go down from ten to five per hour, but the improvement may not seem much.
