The hearing aids are used to magnify the sound vibrations that enter the ear. They detect the vibrations that enter our ears and convert them into specific neural signals. The greater the damage done to hair cells, the more severe deafness erupts, and therefore an ample amount of hearing aid amplification is needed to cover up this problem. However, there are several practical limits to the sound magnification provided by a hearing aid. In addition, if the damage to the inner ear is too large, then the pulsating signals are not converted into neural signals. In this situation, a hearing aid is not of great help.
