India and Afghanistan's likely starting lineups for the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup

The first match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023  in India will take place in 
Ahmedabad on October 5, between the reigning champions England against New 
Zealand. In their inaugural match, Team India will take against Australia on October 8 at 
Chennai's Chepauk Stadium.
India's second game will be against Afghanistan in the meantime. On Wednesday, 
October 11, this game will take place in Delhi's Arun Jaitley Stadium. For the Indian 
squad, playing a game during the week will be unusual because most of their other 
matches are on the weekends. Both clubs will have a lot riding on this game.
