Holi Holi, also referred to as the “Festival of colours,” is a festival of fun, mirth, frolic, dance, music and color. It celebrated because Holika was dead on this day who wants to kill Lord Vishnu’s devotee Prahlad. Ganesh Chaturthi: Ganesh Chaturthi is an essential festival in Maharashtra. This 10-days festival honours the birth of the beloved, elephant-headed God, Lord Ganesh. It starts at the Shukla Chaturthi and ends at the Anant Chaturdashiof the Bhadrapad month. Navaratri, Durga Puja, and Dussehra Navaratri is a Hindu festival of dance and worship. The Sanskrit concept of the word Navaratri is ‘nine nights’. In this festival, people worship types of Shakti.
