Arrive At Srinagar And Overnight At The Houseboat On The Dal • Arrive and drive to the houseboat on the Dal. Enjoy a quiet evening on the banks of the Nagin lake and indulge in a shikara ride in the Dal lake. Discover the floating vegetable market while you are on Shikara ride. Indulge in a delicious Kashmiri Wazwan meal. • Drive across the scenic valley to the ski capital of Gulmarg. • Long immortalised by Bollywood, pine-fringed Gulmarg (‘Meadow of Flowers’), located in the Kashmir Valley, is the nearest India gets to a ski resort. The town is encircled by snow-capped peaks, the most impressive of which is Mt Affarwat, accessible via the precipitous Gulmarg Gondola – the second highest cable car ride in the world. • We have some of best honeymoon spots in the india Arrive At Srinagar And Overnight At The Houseboat On The Dal • Adventurous folks can take a detour and trek another hour from the summit to the spectacular frozen Alpather Lake. Gulmarg town itself is more of a twisting 4km-long loop of road ringing the undulating meadow for which it’s named. The historic Gulmarg Golf Course occupies a significant chunk of the valley meadow. • Take the scenic gondola ride. By far the biggest attraction in town, this cable car whisks visitors 3747m up to a ridge which affords fantastic views of the Nanga Parbat, among other Himalayan peaks. • Visit the Church of St. Mary’s. This demure lovely church sits on a lonely hillock. Built in 1902 by the British who summered in Gulmarg, the church looks like it’s been transplanted from the English pastoral hinterland, with the links-style golf course adding to the effect. Take a minute or two to admire the antique stained-glass windows. Arrive At Srinagar And Overnight At The Houseboat On The Dal • Shiv temple: This quaint, very Kashmiri-looking Shiva temple, also known as Maharani Temple, sits on a mound next to the bus stand, it’s pointed red roof contrasting strikingly against the snow-clad peaks in the background. Built in 1915 by one of the wives of the then Dogra King Maharaja Hari Singh, the temple is a popular destination during the festival of Shivratri. • Spend the night at a cosy hotel watching the stars. • Sonamarg lies in Sind Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonmarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lakes. • Check into your luxury camp site on the banks of the Kishan Ganga river and take in the mesmerising scenery around you. Relax Around Sonmarg • The name Sonamarg means ‘Golden Meadow’, suitably enticing for an upland valley surrounded by soaring, sharpened peaks and Sound of Music scenery. The main, seasonal settlement, at Km85 of the Srinagar– Leh highway, is an uninteresting strip of hotels and simple restaurants. But that’s easy to escape by walking for around an hour into a parallel valley to admire the multiple fingertips of Thajiwas Glacier. If you want to hike much further, Sonamarg is the end (or possible start) of the Seven Lakes Trek • Leave for Pahlgam – the Valley of Shepherds. Drive through saffron fields; visit Awantipura ruins of an 1100 yr old temple of Lord Vishnu. Drive through the pine forest along the Lidder River. On arrival, you will be taken to Chandanwadi either by pony or by local taxi (paid directly). Visit Betab valley – the valley was named Betaab after the bollywood movie by the same name. • Post lunch, proceed to Aru Valley by local taxi (on direct payment) – Aru Valley is a tourist spot 11 km from Pahlgam noted for its scenic meadows, and mountains. Relax Around Sonmarg • Spend a night at beautiful Pagalgam. • Pahalgam is a beautiful valley, and the Lidder River running through it makes it even more picturesque. The river is one of the favourite spots for trout fishing in the country. Rafting is also organized at this river. • Enjoy a traditional Kashmiri meal with a local family. The other major attractions of Srinagar city are the well laid out Mughal styled gardens. The Shalimar Bagh and the Nishat Bagh are beautiful gardens located to the far eastern side of the Dal Lake. One can take a stroll amongst these green and attractive gardens and enjoy the waterworks within them. The temple of Shankaracharya is another important place to visit in Srinagar. Jaluka, the son of Emperor Ashoka, built it in the 3rd century BC. • This is the best honeymoon packages in India at an affordable cost and premium opportunity's Thank You CONTACT US B 12, First Avenue, Sainikpuri, Secunderabad, Telangana 500094 +91 76740 62581 [email protected]
