It is the responsibility of every employee to 

take a health and safety course like safe 

pass training for proper managing of 

equipment and to prevent workplace injuries 

up to a certain limit. Maintaining the health of 

an employee and employer is required more 

than everything in a construction site.  

 

For a lead contractor in a construction site, 

he/she have to to be well prepared to provide instruction and training to employees on 

health and safety in an organization.  

 

As an employee, everyone has a 'duty of care' responsibility for safety and health at 

the workplace at any time. In case of report of any hazards, injuries or ill health to your 

supervisor or employer you should be able to help them with proper steps and 

cooperate with your employer when they require something to be done for safety and 

health at the workplace. 

 

Above all these, it is really important to save the life in any emergency situations. Many 

workplace accidents are the result of unsafe work environment and the failure of 

employers to provide adequate safety equipment or warnings, the correlation between 

employee training and the risk of accidents is often increasing. 

 

Poorly trained employees are a danger to themselves and those who they are working 

with, and this is not because they choose to be or act in a willfully negligent manner. 

There are many ways in which training can improve performance and reduce the risk 

of injury and just as many ways that a lack of proper training can cause disaster. 

 

There are many online and offline safe pass training which will help a worker or an 

employer to know and get awareness on how to take a precaution to avoid more 

hazards and injuries at a workplace. These safe pass awareness programs which are 

mainly focused on the safety of the general workers in a construction site is to ensure 

the safety and health of employees within a workplace. It is compulsory for every 

employee who works at a construction site to take this safe pass certification.  

 

On successful completion of the exam, participants will be issued with a SOLAS Safe
