European women health diagnostics market is growing at a CAGR of approximately 9.1% during the forecast period. According to WHO, there are more than 470 million women living in the European Region, representing just over half of the total population. Understanding women’s health is therefore central to understanding the demographic and epidemiological changes, such as aging and migration, occurring in this very diverse Region. In addition, according to the World Bank, GDP of Europe region in 2018 was around $ 18.8 trillion, health expenditure remains the second largest item of general government expenditure after expenditure on social protection. The total expenditure of the general government on health amounted to 9.6 % of GDP.
