Canada is the 10th largest country globally and the second largest in North America in terms of GDP. As per the International Monetary Fund, the GDP of the country was around $1.73 trillion in 2019 with a growth of 1.5% in the last quarter of 2019 as compared to the same quarter in 2018. By the end of March 2020, more than 8,500 cases and around 100 mortalities due to COVID-19 has been registered in the country.
