Communication tools and electronic data transformation have paved the way for the creation of project teams virtually. This allows team members to work together regardless of their location or historical, cultural, educational, and socio-political differences. Remote working can improve productivity when that balance is achieved. Performan ce The performance of the employers is measured by monitoring their progress and accomplishments of their activities. There are 3 types of performance measures. They are: 1. INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCE: An employer strives to work independently on a specified task and is also responsible for completing the assigned task successfully. 2. TEAM PERFORMANCE: Team members work together to achieve the goal of their team and this involves teamwork and communication between team members. 3. PROJECT TEAM PERFORMANCE: The goal of the project team should be more precise and they should aim to achieve the objectives of the project. Conceptual Model MOTIVATION OF A TEAM MEMBER: When a team member is working on a project, motivation is an excitement level or the drive that encourages the team members to work efficiently in a project team virtually. COMFORT OF BELONGING TO A TEAM: Comfort is an important element that gives a team member a feeling of ease of working in a remote working environment.
