Kamada Ekadashi is observed on the Ekadashi Tithi (11th day) of the Shukla Paksha (waxing phase of the moon) in the Chaitra month. This day is dedicated to the special worship of Lord Vishnu. Observing this fast is believed to absolve one of sins and pave the way for spiritual advancement.
