The dense forest that comes along the trekking of Rwanda Safari has mountainous landscape which is rewarding but the trek can become challenging. When visiting the natural park, there is an option for bird watching and it takes a 2 hours trek to reach the Karisoke Research station. You have to plan for the trek depending on the number of days available.
