Thank you to Darlington and family for inviting our 
team and your neighbors over for dinner!! This is 
genuine community building! With great food came 
great conversation about neighborhood safety and 
improving schooling options in Ward 5. 
As your councillor I will continue to advocate to police 
services, planning and development, and local 
organizations to take a community centric approach to 
shaping safer neighborhoods, while working alongside 
the provincial government, school boards, and 
administration towards shaping accessible and 
equitable schooling options.
Having a team of people 
who believe in 
moving forward together

Today is International Youth Day! With over 20% of 
Calgary’s population made up of youth and as we shape 
our city’s future, it is greatly important that we give 
youth an active seat at the decision making table.

Therefore next week we will announce a new youth 
initiative, including Calgary’s first Youth Advisory Board 
and Youth Strategy. It’s time to bring the most important 
voices to City Hall!

It was a pleasure to attend RED FM 106.7 Calgary event 
today. Weather was beautiful and the event was well 
organized. 
Community building is part of this. As your councillor, I 
shall ensure that my focus is to work with all levels of 
governments (municipal, federal, provincial) to deliver
