Garnishment Notification Letter to Employee Format, Example From, Mack Smith Human Resource Manager Zenith Technologies New York Date: January 14, 2022 To, Mr. James Gibbs 54, Anthony Road New York Sub: Garnishment notification letter Dear Mr. James, This is to notify that according to the orders of the court, we must garnish your salary for the duration of six months or till you repay the outstanding loan amount you owe to Growth Bank Ltd. As per the orders, we will be deducting from your salary a 15% amount which will be effective from November 1st, 2021. It was on January 10th, 2022 you had taken a loan from Growth Bank Ltd and till date, you have paid 22 installments out of 28 installments. Because you have not been paying the installments from over an year, the bank has approached the court, the court has decided to order your employer to make the garnishment. Each and every month, we will be processing and submitting the deducted amount to the payroll system of the government and the charges for this will be $ 50 and these charges will also get deducted from your salary. Therefore, the total salary that you will be receiving for the year 2021-22 will be $ 48,250.
